The Texas FFA Association welcomed more than 16,000 members and guests to the 97th Annual Texas FFA Convention. At the conclusion of the event, the 20242025 state officer team hung up their iconic blue corduroy jackets for the final time.

These eleven students, who graduated high school in May of 2024, represented Texas FFA for the last school year. While the area representatives fulfilled their responsibilities during their time in college, the President took a gap year to carry out their duties. During their 365 days in office, they traveled approximately 40,000 miles, and visited approximately 400 Texas schools conducting leadership workshops and delivering keynote addresses.

In addition, the elected individuals represented each of the area associations within Texas FFA. These student officers worked in partnership with the board of directors to develop policy for the Texas FFA Association and provide student leadership to Texas FFA members. Serving as a state officer is regarded as one of the highest honors within the Texas FFAAssociation.

The Texas FFA Convention, held this year from June 30 to July 4 in Fort Worth, marked the culmination of their term and the beginning of a new chapter for these student leaders. With its return to the heart of Cowtown, the convention blends tradition and progress in a celebration of student success, agricultural education, and the enduring legacy of the blue corduroy jacket.
