Swiss Alp’s Ralph Fisher and His Longhorns Entertain at American Farm Bureau Convention
Ralph Fisher of Swiss Alp and four of his famous longhorns attended the American Farm Bureau convention Jan 25-27, 2025, at the H.B. Gonzales Convention Center in San Antonio.
Ralph Fisher’s Photo Animals were sponsored by Texas Farm Bureau organization. The photo to the right is of “Buckaroo,” an unusual double- twist Texas Longhorn steer.
Three other Fisher Longhorn steers were presented also for photos. They were Dallas, Cowboy and Abilene. Over 3,000 folks from State Farm Bureau organizations across the U.S., and from foreign countries, had photos taken with the steers over the three days.
The Fisher headed to the Annual Armadillo Day at Bee Cave, Texas, on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, to predict the weather for the Spring, in Texas. The armadillo ceremony (like the groundhog day ceremony in Pennsylvania the same day) included a lot of state and national press.
“We know of a Mother/ son flying in from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and a local pastor cutting her sermon short so some of her congregation can attend,” Fisher said ahead of the event.
