Such Small Fry

Life Polar vortex roar’d down Upon us modern men, It does so world over, Cross many northern lands. Current knowhow insignificant, Here in Houston----energy capital, I write by candle light, How insignificant, The warmth of fire from wood, In homes not built for cold. Just a few days ago, I tried to imagine To live as a caveman, Today I wish I lived His cozy home of stone, Small fire for warmth and light.

Today, He is the better man, And me, So insignificant.
