Students Selected as All-State Musicians

Devin Cooper and Grady Kocian, members of the La Grange High School Band will perform with the Texas All-State 4A Band in San Antonio, Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Henry B. González Convention Center as part of the 2025 Texas Music Educators Association Clinic/Convention.

Devin Cooper and Grady Kocian were chosen for this prestigious honor through a competitive process held this year across the state at Region, and Area levels. Kocian is a student of Brian Stewart. Devin and Grady play at school under the direction of Chris Cooper, who is a member of the Association of Texas Small School Bands. For both students, this is their first time to perform as a member of an ATSSB All-State organization. Devin Cooper is the son of Chris Cooper, Rebecca Henry-Cooper, and the late Jennifer Cooper. Grady Kocian is the son of Karissa and Eric Kocian.
