Sts. Peter & Paul-Frelsburg Celebrating 175th Anniversary and Country Festival

The parishioners of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Frelsburg invites the community to their 175th Anniversary and Country Festival on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8. Treat the moms in your family to a good old-fashioned time. The day will begin with the Father James Dvorak celebrating the Holy Mass at 8:30 a.m. followed by the Traditional Latin Mass at 10:30 a.m.

Frelsburg’s famous fried fish meal will be available by dine-in or drive thru. Dine in will begin at 11 a.m. and meal tickets will be $15 for a large plate and $12 for a small plate. For your convenience there will be plates to go starting at 10:30 a.m. for $15. The day’s events will also feature a cake, plant and gift card walk; country store; religious articles booth; bingo at 12 p.m. Live auction under the shaded live oak trees starting at 1 p.m, silent auction, and games for the whole family.

A free dance featuring The Blue Denim Band will take place after the Auction. Hamburgers will be available after 3 p.m. and crawfish by Southern Sip Crawdaddy’s will be sold starting at 4 p.m.
