St. Rose Students Vocation Day Field Trip
St. Rose of Lima Catholic School’s fifth grade class traveled to Victoria to visit The Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament Convent for Vocation Day. They learned all about the different callings God has for each of us. They learned about the founder of The Incarnate Word Order, and how she is currently being considered for sainthood. They also learned about missionary work in Africa, the daily life of a sister and of a priest, and participated in a scavenger hunt to learn more about vocations. At the end of the day, each school helped lead a prayer service encouraging all the students to share their light and make a difference in the world. And no trip would be complete without a trip to the gift shop, the students enjoyed their day.
