St. Paul-Fayetteville Hosting Fat Tuesday Pancake Supper

Fat Tuesday pancake supper at St. Paul in Fayetteville starts at 5:30 p.m. on March 4. All you can eat pancakes, sausage and beverages will be served. This free will offering will benefit the Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Department.

The confirmation class will meet on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 3 p.m. at St. John in Rutersville.

Shared Lutheran Ministry council and all church councils will meet for an annual retreat at Crossroad Community Church in La Grange on Saturday, Feb. 22. Shared Council will start at 9 a.m., followed by lunch for all at 11 a.m., and then concludes with all councils until 2 p.m.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church Mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church is every Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.

Hermann Sons 

There will be a volunteer workday at the Hilltop camp in Comfort on March 15, 2025 from 9-5 p.m. Breakfast will be provided from 8:15 9 a.m. and lunch will also be provided. All extra hands are appreciated to get camp ready for the summer and all skill levels are needed. Furniture needs to be moved, windows cleaned, yard work, painting, etc are some items that need to be done.

17th Birthday Celebrated Kasen Kocian celebrated his 17th birthday on Saturday, Feb. 15 with family at Nancy’s Steakhouse in Columbus. All enjoyed delicious food and conversation. Of course, no one could pass up the ice cream machine on the way out.
