St. Paul in Fayetteville will host the second Advent service of the season on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. This will be a Dinner Church, meaning soup will be served during the service.
The confirmation class will meet on Sunday, Dec. 8 at St. John in Rutersville from 3-4:30 p.m.
St. John in Ellinger will have Christmas worship on Christmas Eve at 6 p.m. with Pastor Jen. This will be a candle lit service and all are welcome.
Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.
St. Mary Catholic Church St. Mary’s Catholic Church mass is every Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m.
Brethren Church
Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.
Ellinger Sewer & Water to Meet Ellinger Sewer & Water will meet at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9 at the fire station.
Chamber of Commerce The Ellinger Chamber of Commerce will hold a meet on Tuesday, Dec. 10 in the dining hall at 7 p.m. All chamber member and community members are invited to attend. The chamber will host Bingo on Sunday, Dec. 8 at the chamber hall. Doors and kitchen open at 11 a.m. and games start at 1 p.m. Hamburgers, hotdogs, nachos, desserts and refreshments will be available. There will be a contest for the best dressed Christmas outfit.
