St. Mary’s Church to Celebrate 75th Bazaar Next Sunday

St. Mary’s in Ellinger invites you to their 75th annual bazaar on Sunday, Aug. 24. Starting at 10:30 a.m. there will be a drive through and dine in meal at the Ellinger Chamber of Commerce Hall consisting of fried chicken, sausage and all the trimmings for $15 a plate.

There will also be a silent auction and live auction. There will be a variety booth and other fun game activities.

Live music will be provided by Los Banditos featuring Tim Kulhanek.

There will be a price drawing for a $5,000 gift card as the first prize and 48 additional prizes. Tickets for the drawing are available from the St. John/St. Mary’s Parish Office, St. Mary’s parishioners, Fayetteville Bank or Round Top State Bank.

Beginning Aug. 15, an online auction will open for bidding. Go to www.stmaryellinger. com to register as a bidder and view auction items.

Ten percent of the net proceeds will benefit Brenham Pregnancy Center and Camp Hope for veterans with PTSD.

Shared Lutheran Ministry The SLM council will meet on Tuesday, Aug. 19 at 5:30 p.m. in Fayetteville and all church councils will meet at 6:30 p.m.

Pastor Morgan will lead church in Ellinger on Sunday, Aug. 17.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at Noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 am with communion.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church St. Mary’s Catholic Church mass is every Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m.

Ellinger Hermann Sons Life Hermann Sons Life will meet on Monday,Aug. 18 at the Ellinger Fire Station at 6 p.m.

Ellinger Sewer and Water Ellinger Sewer and Water will meet on Monday, Aug. 11 at 6 p.m. at the Ellinger Fire Station.

Ellinger Chamber 

Ellinger Chamber of Commerce will meet at 7 p.m. in the chamber dining hall on Tuesday, Aug. 12. All chamber and community members are invited to attend.
