St. Mary’s 75th Annual Bazaar this Weekend

St. Mary’s Catholic Church Mass is every Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m.

St. Mary’s in Ellinger invites you to their 75th annual bazaar on Sunday, Aug. 24. Starting at 10:30 a.m. there will be a drive through and dine in meal at the Ellinger Chamber of Commerce Hall consisting of fried chicken, sausage and all the trimmings for $15 a plate.

There will also be a silent auction and live auction. There will be a variety booth and other fun game activities. Live music will be provided by Los Banditos featuring Tim Kulhanek. There will be a prize drawing for a $5,000 gift card as the first prize and 48 additional prizes. Tickets for the drawing are available from the St. John/St. Mary’s Parish Office, St. Mary’s parishioners, Fayetteville Bank or Round Top State Bank.

Beginning Aug. 15, an online auction will open for bidding. Go to www.stmaryellinger. com to register as a bidder and view auction items. 10% of the net proceeds will benefit Brenham Pregnancy Center and Camp Hope for veterans with PTSD.

Shared Lutheran Ministry 

Pastor Jen will lead church in Ellinger on Sunday, Aug. 24. Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services.
