Blood Drive
The Gulf Coast Blood Center is holding the semiannual Fayetteville Blood Drive on Saturday, July 19 from 8-12:30 on the square in their donor truck. The Fayetteville/ Ellinger Knights of Columbus are sponsoring the drive. When you give blood, you’re giving the gift of life.

Listen to a talented group of bluegrass musicians that pick and sing at Picking Park on the square this Saturday. They get together the second Saturday of each month from January-November. The music flows from 2 p.m. until everyone’s ready to hang it up.
VBS
Save the date for this summer’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville. It’s always the third full week of July. The dates this year are July 21-25. The theme is “The Great Journey with Jesus Through the Church Year.” Come to VBS and walk with Jesus through the church year. Journey through Advent, Christmas, Ordinary Time, Lent and Easter.
Church Services
St. Paul Lutheran holds services on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. Services are recorded every week, rotating among four Shared Lutheran Ministry churches and posted on the Facebook page for the Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County. Services are also featured on KTIM 89.1 Sundays at noon.
St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville holds Mass Saturdays at 6 p.m., and Sunday’s at 10 a.m.
St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellinger holds Mass on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sunday’s at 8 a.m.
Worship services at Fayetteville Brethren are held on the second, third and fourth Saturday of every month at 10 a.m. An adult Bible Study is held before the worship service from 9 to 9:45 a.m.
