SLM Backpack Blessing Sunday

Blessing of the Backpacks will be at each church on Sunday, Aug. 10. Have your student bring their backpack to church.

The SLM council will meet on Tuesday, Aug. 19 at 5:30 pm in Fayetteville and all church councils will meet at 6:30 pm.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church St. Mary’s Catholic Church mass is every Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook.

Ellinger Hermann Sons Life Hermann Sons Life will meet on Monday,Aug. 18 at the Ellinger Fire Station at 6 p.m.

Ellinger Sewer and Water Ellinger Sewer and Water will meet on Monday, Aug. 11 at 6 p.m. at the Ellinger Fire Station.

Ellinger Chamber 

Ellinger Chamber of Commerc will meet at 7 p.m. in the chamber dining hall. All chamber and community members are invited to attend.

Koehl Celebrates Birthday Lucille Koehl celebrated her birthday the weekend of July 25 in Matagorda with immediate family. The guys enjoyed fishing and all prepared good meals throughout the day. The mosquitos and seaweed were minimal during the stay and all enjoyed the family time together.
