Skid Steer Catches Fire

On Monday afternoon around 1:06 p.m. Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a skid steer on fire on Creamer Creek Rd. off Country Club Drive near La Grange. The La Grange Fire Department was notified and responded to the scene along with Deputy Jared Michalec. Upon arrival the Cat skid steer used to clear brush on the property caught fire and was fully engulfed. The La Grange Fire Department quickly extinguished the fire and there were no reported injuries.
