SISD Holds Groundbreaking for School Bond Improvements

Schulenburg ISD held a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday, Nov. 19, for the school’s bond construction project. Voters approved the $19.6 million bond package in 2023. The project includes a new performing arts center, sports complex upgrades and security improvements. Demolition and construction at the sports complex will soon begin. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on the football field at David Husmann Memorial Stadium.
