Sheriff Korenek Details July Activity in Fayette County
Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports activities of Fayette County Sheriff Deputies for the month of July.
Investigator Marc Bennett is working numerous cases involving assault, fraud, stolen items and property damage.
Deputy Terry Guentert was dispatched to a disturbance in the Swiss Alp area. A male subject was arrested for public intoxication.
Deputy Cody Williams responded to a welfare check in the Schulenburg area after a male subject made some concerning statements. The male was transported to a hospital for evaluation.
Deputy Chris Stansberry assisted numerous agencies with calls, and towed an abandoned vehicle that was blocking the roadway near Interstate 10 in Engle.
Deputy James Ulbig responded to a residence in the Swiss Alp area in reference to violation of a protective order. The violator was gone on arrival but a case was filed with the county attorney.
Sergeant Duane Meagher responded to a rolling disturbance on State Highway 237. Afemale subject was taken into custody for assault and public intoxication. Assault charges were also filed against a male subject in reference to the same incident. Sergeant Meagher also took a hospice inquest report on Jackson Road near La Grange.
Deputy Joe Gonzales took a burglary report at a business on FM155. Deputy Gonzales also took a report of criminal mischief at a property on Adamcik Road.
Deputy Jason Fowler responded to a civil matter on Wynne Lane near Round Top. Deputy Fowler also took a hospice inquest report in Muldoon.
Deputy Noah Geer responded to a burglary on State Highway 71, the case is under active investigation.
Deputy Jose Mosqueda responded to a disturbance in Carmine. A female subject was arrested for public intoxication. Deputy Mosqueda also responded to a disturbance on Munke Road, where a female subject was arrested for public intoxication.
Deputy Wesly Arrison responded to a theft on US Highway 77 near Rabbs Prairie. The investigation is ongoing. Deputy Arrison also responded to a violation of a protective order call on FM-3171 and a female subject was taken into custody.
Deputy Mark Pritchard responded to a suicidal subject on Pavlica Road. The subject was transported to a mental health facility for evaluation and treatment. Deputy Pritchard also towed an abandoned vehicle near Engle.
Deputy Ty Roggenkamp responded to a disturbance in the Swiss Alp area. A female subject was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Family Member) and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
Jail Administrator Holly Smith reports that Fayette County Correction Officers booked in 44 individuals for the month of July. Smith reports that the Jail Staff transported 11 individual(s) to Texas Department of Criminal Justice Facilities throughout the State to begin serving their sentences for crimes committed in Fayette County.
