Shank Inducted Into National Society of Leadership And Success

The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) is an organization that provides a life-changing leadership program that helps students achieve personal growth, career success, and empowers them to have a positive impact in their communities.

Katy Shank, a resident of Schulenburg who is completing her first year as sophomore at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, was recently inducted into the SFA Chapter of NSLS. Katy entered SFA with dual credit hours earned while at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Hallettsville.

As a sophomore, Katy has already selected her focus for her Theatre Arts degree, which is Stage Production. NSLS believes that learning is a life-long journey and gaining new skills is imperative for personal and professional growth.

Additionally, committed to the concept that everyone has leadership potential, NSLS provides the tools and resources students need to identify and achieve their goals. This support encourages students to achieve more together than they would alone.
