Several Events Happening During Spring Antique Show
The Spring Antique Show is in full-swing. The larger venues like the Big Red Barn and Marburger Farms will open March 28 and March 29, respectively. The show wraps-up Sunday, April 3.
Events & Live Music
The Arbors’ Happy Hour continues each afternoon from 3-6 p.m. The Happy Hour location switches daily to include each of the tents. In order to find where the wine will be served each day, please visit www.thearborsroundtop.com. Music will be outside Tent C, close to the Ellis motel Mobile Bar from 3-6 p.m.
Denverado hosts 80’s Nite at Zapp Hall Friday, March 25 from 7-10 p.m. Dress in your favorite 80’s attire and come out for a night of fun. This is a free event.
Kimono Zulu Sip, Shop and Style at Denverado’s/Zapp Hall Saturday, March 26 from 1-5 p.m. in the afternoon. Tina Zulu and Gabrielle, a.k.a. Western Sage, will help you create a runway-ready kimono cowgirl look.
The Arbors hosts Tequila with Topped Hats Saturday, March 26 from 3-6 p.m. Come out in your best topped hat for tequila shots and donkey photo opportunities in Tent G of The Arbors.
Frank Martin Gilligan will perform at the Busted Oak Cellars on Round Top Road Saturday, March 26 from 4-7 p.m.
Royers Round Top Cafe hosts Cakebread Dinner at Drift & Holler Saturday, March 26 from 6-9 p.m.. Enjoy a fivecourse diner prepard by Royer’s. Tickets are $125 and can be purchased at royersroundtopcafe.com.
Rancho Pillow presents “A Current Affair” March 27 - 29 from 3-7 p.m. each day. Over 40 hand-picked vintage retailers and private dealers will gather on the 20-acre grounds of Ranch Pillow, located on Schuster Road. Tickets range from $10 - $50 and are available at eventbrite.com.
A VIP dinner at The Halles will be held Sunday, March 27 from 6-9 p.m. This seated dinner includes cocktails and live music. Tickets are $150. For more information visit TheHalles.com.
Opening day for The Big Red Barn will be Monday, March 28. VIP admission opens at 9 a.m. and general admission opens at 1 p.m. General admission is free and a VIP ticket costs $20. Tickets may be purchased in advance at roundtoptexasantiques.com.
The Speaker Series at The Halles continues with Steve and Brook Giannetti, authors of Patina Homes, Patina Living and Patina Farms, on Monday, March 28 from 5-7 p.m. Tickets required.
Enjoy a gourmet dinner prepared by Royer’s Round Top Cafe and Caymus at Zapp Hall on Monday, March 28 from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $135 and include a five-course dinner and wine pairings from Caymus family of wines.

Tutu Tuesday Whimsical Wine Walk and Dance at Zapp Hall will be Tuesday, March 29 beginning at 5 p.m.
Enjoy a gourmet dining experience and fashion show Tuesday, March 29 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Market Hill. This event is hosted by Vincent Peach Fine Jewelry and DUO by Gino and Nate, and features a five-course meal, fashion show and wine pairings. Tickets are $150 and can be purchased on eventbrite.com.
Thursday, March 31 is Denverado’s Prom at Zapp Hall. The event is from 7 p.m.-12 a.m. and outrageous prom attire is encouraged.
Saturday, April 2, The Stone Cellar is hosting a closing party for the antique show featuring the Black Cat Choir.
Round Top Family Library
Round Top Family Library is open Monday through Friday from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Adult Yoga meets Mondays at 5 p.m. The library will be offering a CPR and AED training on Saturday, April 16 for RTC High School students. This is a free class but students must sign up in advance in the high school office. This class is limited to 10 students. Round Top Rifle Hall
The Round Top Rifle Hall Monday Night Social takes place the first through fourth Monday of each month. All proceeds benefit the continued improvement of the RTRA. Festival Hill
The 2022 Festival Hill Gala is set for April 9. This event will take place in a lavish tent on the grounds of the Institute and feature live music, a catered dinner and more. Round Top-Carmine ISD
Round Top-Carmine ISD’s website has information posted regarding tuition-based Pre-K for the 2022 - 2023 school year. Please visit rtcisd.net for more information on this. Transfer letters and forms will be available after April 11. If your child is a current transfer student, you should receive an email with instructions after this date. This packet will also be available on the RTC website for students new to the district. Again, this will be available after April 11.

Bethlehem Lutheran Church holds services with Pastor John David Nedbalek Sundays at 9:30 a.m. Sunday School is the first Sunday at 8:30 a.m. Ruth Circle is the first Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. Sewing Circle is the second Tuesday of each month at 9 a.m. Confirma tion class is held Wednesdays at 4:15 p.m. Adult Bible Study has been canceled for the months of March and April. Wednesday Lenten services will alternate between Bethlehem Lutheran and St. Paul Lutheran in Shelby. March 30 will be a 6 p.m. meal and a 7 p.m. service at BLC. BLC Memorial Committee will be placing an order for potted lilies to be placed on the altar on Easter Sunday. Each will cost $16. If you are interested in placing an order for an Easter lily please contact the church office no later than March 28 by calling (979) 249-3686 or by filling out the form at the bottom of the monthly bulletin.
St. Paul Lutheran Church in Shelby holds Worship service at 8 a.m, followed by fellowship, coffee, and Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. Game Day is held the first and third Wednesday of each month from 2-4 p.m.. Bring a snack, board game, dominoes, etc. Quilting meets the third Wednesday of each month at 9 a.m. Noisy Offering is the third Sunday of each month.
