Senior Connections Celebrates the Holidays

As the holiday season approaches, Senior Connections activity center is excited to announce a special opportunity for our cherished members. While we initially planned to close for the week to honor the Christmas holiday, our commitment to fostering community and connection has inspired us to open our doors for two special days: Monday, Dec. 22 and Friday, Dec. 27.

Members from all three of our sites Schulenburg, Flatonia, and Weimar are warmly invited to join us at our Schulenburg location, situated at 1111 Bowlmann Avenue in Walters Park. On these days, we’ll be open from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. offering a festive atmosphere filled with games, coffee, and heartfelt conversation. Attendees can also look forward to some delightful warm beverages, such as hot chocolate and hot cider, to keep spirits bright.

In the spirit of the season, our meal will be chef’s choicelikely featuring a comforting hot soup paired with chips or crackers, perfect for sharing and enjoying with friends old and new.

As we approach Christmas on Dec. 24, we want to wish everyone a joyful and familyfilled holiday. Our doors will remain open the following week as well, with gatherings scheduled for Dec. 29 and Jan. 3, during the same hours and at the same location.

We encourage members to bring a friend and make the most of this holiday season together. At Senior Connections, we believe that the joy of community is one of the best gifts we can share.
