    Schulenburg Police Report Details Week of Assault, Disturbance, Traffic Stops

Schulenburg Police Chief Troy Brenek reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of June 7-12.

Assault

On June 11, Officer MD Krenek responded to the 500 block of West Avenue regarding a resident at the facility being assaulted. Officer spoke with all the information and spoke with the administrator.

Criminal Trespass

On June 11, Krenek was dispatched to the 77 block of N. Kessler regarding criminal trespass. Several individuals have been changing clothes at the Dairy Queen and hanging their clothes on the privacy fencing. Both individuals left without incident.

Civil Matter

On June 8, Krenek responded to the 200 block of W. I-10 frontage road for a civil matter.

Disturbance

On June 8, Officer James Whited was dispatched to the 100 block of Cardinal for a 911 hang up. Upon arrival officer heard verbal arguing. Officer Krenek arrived and stood by as one individual gathered their belongings.

Child Custody

On June 7, Officer Byron Powe responded to the 600 block of Upton for a child custody tody exchange issue.

Reckless Damage

On June 10, Krenek responded to the 55 block of East Avenue for damaged property at the RV Park. The park has a mowing service that was mowing close to the window that was broke.

Traffic Stop

On June 8, Powe stopped a driver for speeding going 100 in a 75 in the 600 block of E. I-10. Driver received a citation.

On June 11, Powe stopped a driver in the 900 block of Summit for wrong license plate. Driver received a warning.

On June 12, Powe stopped a driver in the 700 block of Kessler for failure to stay in a single lane.

Welfare Check

On June 9, Whited responded to the 25 block of N. Kessler for a welfare check.
