Schulenburg Police Chief Troy Brenek reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Aug. 4-10.

Animal complaint

On Aug. 6, Officer MD Krenek was dispatched to the 500 block of North Street regarding a large white dog running at large.

Accident

On Aug. 7, Officer Hailee Vincent responded to the 300 block of Oakland for a vehicle accident.

Criminal Mischief

On Aug. 6, Officer James Whited was dispatched to the 1000 block of Paulus for criminal mischief.

Disturbance

On Aug. 8, Vincent was dispatched to the 300 block of College for an individual with a weapon.

Harassment

On Aug. 5, Krenek responded to the 200 block of St. John regarding harassment.

Suspicious Person

On Aug. 10, Whited responded to the 800 block of West Avenue for subjects on motorized scooters and upon arrival officer found the parties just were going for a night ride. Information was confirmed and released.

Traffic Hazard

On Aug. 9, Officer Jesus Alvarez responded to the 400 block of Kessler regarding a traffic hazard involving. Walmart semi-truck stuck at S. Kessler underpass.

Theft

On Aug. 5, Alvarez was dispatched to the 900 block of Baumgarten regarding stolen traffic cones.

Traffic Stops

OnAug. 5, Whited stopped a driver for speeding in the 40 block of Kessler. A warning was issued.

OnAug. 6, Krenek stopped a driver in the 800 block of S. is-Kessler for speeding, driver issued a warning.

On Aug. 6, Alvarez stopped a driver in the 800 block of Kessler for speeding and a verbal warning was issued.

OnAug. 6, Whited stopped a driver for speeding in the 40 block of Kessler. Driver issued a warning.

On Aug. 10, Alvarez stopped a driver in the 800 block of S. Kessler for speeding a warning was issued.

On Aug. 10, Alvarez stopped a vehicle for speeding in the 800 block of S. Kessler. A warning was issued.

On Aug. 10, Officer Byron Powe stopped a driver in the 600 block of W. I-10 for an expired registration (12-23) Driver received a warning.

On Aug. 10, Powe stopped a driver for speeding in the 600 block of W I-10 going 92 in a 75. Driver received a citation.

On Aug. 10, Powe stopped a driver for speeding in the 600 block of W. I-10 going 83 in a 75. Driver received a warning for speeding and citation for driving while license invalid.

On Aug. 10, Powe stopped a driver for speeding in the 600 block of W. I-10 for speeding going 91 in a 75. Driver received a citation.

On Aug. 10-Powe stopped a driver in the 600 block of W. I-10 for speeding going 86 in a 75.
