Worship Committee meets Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
Ash Wednesday worship with Holy Communion is March 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. Pastor Tinker will officiate with the sermon based on “Fasting.” The service at Waldeck is at 5:45 p.m.
“Disciplines of Lent” is the theme for this year’s Lent Series. Pastors from six congregations will share messages at the different congregations throughout Lent.
Saturday worship with Holy Communion is at 6 p.m.
Sunday School is Sunday at 9 a.m.
Sunday worship with Holy Communion observing the First Sunday in Lent is at 10 a.m. Songs will be led by the Praise Team and the Noisy Offering will be collected. This year’s Noisy Offering is designated for Water to Thrive. The service will also be on the mllccarmine. com website. The Rev. David Tinker is the pastor.
Correction
A correction to the piece of Carmine History in the Feb. 15 edition. It should have been Walter Roski instead of Emil Roski who helped run the Texaco station.
Recycling Trailer
The recycling trailer is at the Carmine Hall on Thursdays from noon until 4 p.m.
The trailer is in Ledbetter from 8:30-11 a.m., also on Thursdays, behind the Ledbetter Fireman’s Hall.
Visitors’ Center
Carmine Chamber of Commerce Visitors’ Center at the restored Train Depot is open on the second and fourth Fridays and Saturdays of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
