Round Top Family Library Hosting iPhone Class Saturday

The library is hosting an iPhone class for beginners on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. This is a free class and open to the public.
The library has several great class options throughout the week. Sewing and yoga classes are held each Monday, yoga and preschool story-time are on Wednesdays, Thursdays are Taekwondo classes, and Family Game Day is held every second Saturday at 10 a.m.

Do Your Duty Club
The DYD (Do Your Duty) ladies’ service organization meets on the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. for social and 6 p.m. for meeting at the Round Top Court House. This organization has been responsible for the upkeep and care of the Round Top town square and courthouse for almost 90 years. The mission of the DYD is to enhance and contribute to the local nonprofits in Round Top that do so much for this community. The newly-elected President is Brenda Stardig.
Are you a maker or purveyor of handcrafted items? The Do Your Duty Club of the Town of Round Top invites you to submit an application to participate as a vendor at The Square Fair during the Spring 2025 Antiques and Design Show. Upcoming dates for The Square Fair are March 22-30. Handcrafted jewelry, clothing, jams, jellies, wind chimes, soaps, and pottery are among many other handmade items to be sold on the square. Winedale Talk
Join Kyna Stys from the National Museum of the Pacific War for a Winedale Zoom Talk: Flying for Freedom: The WASP of WWII, on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 12 p.m., as she tells the remarkable story of the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) and their critical role in supporting the war effort during World War II. Fayette County Texas Exes This is the last week to drop off your non-perishable food items to help the Fayette County Texas Exes support the AMEN Food Pantry. The last day is Saturday, Feb. 22. All items may be dropped off at Round Top Brewing & Kitchen or Round Top Real Estate.
Round Top-Carmine ISD High School students will be busy taking the SAT and TSIA2 tests on Thursday, March 6. Progress reports will be posted Friday, March 7. Kiddos will be out March 10 through 14 for Spring Break.
Festival Hill
James Dick will perform a piano recital on Saturday, March 8.
The 30th Annual Herbal Forum & Plant Sale will open Friday, March 14. The Herb and Plant Sale, and Thyme Well Spent Gift Shop will be open Friday, March 14 – Saturday, March 15 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, enjoy learning about “Unlocking the Mysteries of Herb Superpowers.” Speakers include Stephen Brueggerhoff, Cristen Andres, Dr. Judy Griffin, and Autumn Schulze.
Coming up in April enjoy a concert by Robert Earl Keen on April 11, the Gala Concert of the World Shakuhachi Festival on April 19, and “Poetry at Round Top” on April 25.

Round Top Rifle Hall
A hamburger social is held the first, second, and third Mondays of each month beginning at 5:30 p.m. All proceeds benefit the RTRH.
Save the date for the Rifle Hall’s annual Fish Fry. On Friday, March 21, enjoy allyou- can-eat fish, served with French fries, coleslaw, and hushpuppies. Dine-in or takeout. Tickets are $18 and can be purchased at Round Top Mercantile, Round Top State Bank.
Historical Society
The annual Garage Sale will be Feb. 22 from 9 a.m.5 p.m., and Feb. 23 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Come shop lots of household items, furniture, antiques, books, linens, and more.

St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Warrenton holds a monthly Mass the first Tuesday of the month at 8 a.m. More information can be found at stjohnfayetteville. com/st-martin.
Bethlehem Lutheran Church meets at 9:30 a.m. St. Paul Lutheran Church in Shelby services are at 8 a.m. Round Top Church meets at 8:45 a.m. for Bible Study, and the service is held at 10 a.m. St. Cecilia holds service in Haw Creek Chapel at 8:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
