Rotary Clubs Rise Up Against Hunger
The Rotary Club of La Grange and Rotary Club of Giddings proudly partnered with Rise Against Hunger over the weekend for a communitydriven meal packaging event aimed at alleviating hunger across the globe. The event, held at the KC Hall in La Grange, brought together volunteers from McCourt Equipment, surrounding Rotary clubs, the LHS Interact Club, the LHS National Honor Society, and other local community members.
This event is part of Rotary Club’s ongoing commitment to service above self and their dedication to making a positive impact both locally and globally. The goal was to package 10,000 meals, each one carefully prepared by volunteers working together in an organized assembly line. These meals will be sent to regions where hunger is most prevalent, providing nourishment to those who need it most.
