Rosanne Gallia Retiring After 19 Years as the Principal of St. Rose of Lima Catholic School
Father Jasper Liggio and the St. Rose School of Lima Catholic School family and community appreciate Mrs. Rosanne Gallia for her dedication, commitment and accomplishments during her 19 years of service to St. Rose. She helped stabilize many areas including budget, staffing, curriculum and campus improvement.
Throughout her leadership Mrs. Gallia established clear goals and expectations, developing a culture of excellence. She modeled respect in all relationships, always making decisions in the best interests of the students and for the integrity of the school. Her ability to handle situations calmly and effectively made her a credible example for all of the school family.
Rosanne Gallia served 35 years in the Diocese of Victoria Catholic Schools, 16 at Sacred Heart as a teacher and Assistant Principal and 19 years as Principal of St. Rose. She stated, “A career and ministry in Catholic Education was very rewarding and fulfilling. I will miss it all and my heart is filled with love for St. Rose and beautiful memories. St. Rose School is a unique treasure; I was blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of the experience and history.”
