Retired Teachers Visit Festival Hill

The Fayette County Retired Teachers Association enjoyed a tour of Round Top Festival Institute on April 12. Docent Karen Dormois provided the group with a background of Festival Hill and shared some of the special collections that are housed there, as well as a tour of the Concert Hall, Menke House and the Edythe Bates Old Chapel. While eating outdoors at Busted Oak Cellars in Round Top following the tour, members enjoyed their lunches, the scenery, and a chance to visit with one another.
