Red Door Fund For Mental Health Raises $45,000 During Inaugural Fundraising Event
The Red Door Fund for Mental Health proudly hosted its first annual event, raising $45,000 to support mental health initiatives across the community. Held to spotlight the important work of local mental health organizations, the event successfully gathered supporters, sponsors, and community leaders for an evening dedicated to improving mental health resources in Fayette and surrounding counties.
With the generous contributions from attendees, the Red Door Fund will be able to fully fund efforts to continue providing critical mental health services. The Red Door Fund remains committed to ensuring that mental health care is accessible to all, especially in underserved areas.
“We are thrilled with the success of our inaugural event and deeply grateful to everyone who contributed,” said Cheryl Pekar, Chair of The Red Door Fund for Mental Health. “The $45,000 raised will go directly toward funding mental health initiatives that are critical to the well being of our communities.”
A special thanks is extended to the event’s table sponsors, whose generosity helped make the evening a success: Christine and Mark Scully, Leon’s Electric & Plumbing, McCourt Equipment, Fayette County Sheriff’s Benevolence Fund, Ed and Suzanne Ellis, Round Top Lions Club, and Cheryl and Matt Pekar.
The Red Door Fund extends their gratitude to additional event sponsors, including HeartBrand Beef, Caymus Vineyards, Royers Round Top Café, Round Top by PaperCity, The Fender Bender Band, and The Compound, whose support helped make this event possible.
This significant contribution will allow the Red Door Fund to support a range of local organizations dedicated to mental health awareness, treatment, and support services. As the Red Door Fund for Mental Health looks ahead, the organization is committed to expanding its efforts to address mental health gaps within the community.
