Record Visits Berlin, Germany

Local residents from Fayette and Colorado Counties and Harris County (with ties to Fayette County) recently visited Berlin, Germany, while at one of the ports on a Scandinavian/Baltic Sea cruise from England.

Those on the trip included: Donnie and Shirley Machicek and Jean Schimcek from Schulenburg; Marilyn Hinze from Weimar; Connie (Sokol) Berger from Katy; and Ronnie, Margaret and Thomas Sokol from Houston. The Sokol’s parents, Herbert and Cleopha (Klesel) Sokol were Fayette County residents.
