Rutersville Fish Fry

Hermann Sons Rutersville will hold their annual Fish Fry this Saturday, June 28 starting at 5 p.m. at the lodge hall. Join for food, fun and a silent auction. The lodge’s July meeting has been cancelled.

Arts:Past & Present

Join Kreische Brewery and Monument Hill State Historic Sites on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. for a dive into 19th-century art, with an opportunity to make your own masterpiece. Find us at the Kreische House to peruse art from Pauline Kreische’s 19thcentury sketchbook, experiment with watercolors, and take in the beauty of the Bluff. Program is included with sites admission. Second Chance

Second Chance Emporium (donations and sales store) will be closed June 30-July 5 in observance of the July 4 holiday. Donations drop-off will reopen Monday, July 7 and the sales store will reopen July 11-12 weekend.

July 4th at Bridge

Join Bridge Church for a fun-filled, family-friendly celebration at their annual 4th of July party on Thursday, July 4 from 6 p.m. until dark. Everyone in the community is invited to enjoy free hot dogs, watermelon, sno-cones (while supplies last), and water, along with exciting activities like a waterslide, splash pad, dunking booth, and games for both kids and adults. The night will end with a spectacular fireworks show at dark (weather and burn ban permitting). Be sure to bring your lawn chairs, snacks, drinks, and all your favorite people. Please note: for safety and comfort, pets should stay home, and no alcohol is permitted.

American Legion Quade Werchan

In order to provide their members the opportunity to fully enjoy the July 4 weekend, the next meeting of the American Legion Quade-Werchan Post No. 338 and Ladies Auxiliary originally scheduled for July 3, has been rescheduled to July 10. The meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. at their facilities located at 1503 N. State Highway 237 in Round Top. All members are encouraged to attend as the post has several operational proposals to review.

July 4 Garbage Schedule

St. John Vacation Bible School

St. John Catholic Church in Fayetteville will host The Great Journey with Jesus Through the Church Year Vacation Bible School July 21-25 from 6-8 p.m. in the St. John Recreation Hall.
