Baylor Men’s Choir
You are invited to come hear the Baylor Men’s Choir on their Spring Tour stop at Flatonia Baptist Church. The concert is Friday, April 4 at Flatonia Baptist Church, 225 E. 6th St., Flatonia at 7 p.m. They would love your support, and you’ll come away inspired by their musicianship and the way they represent Baylor University. There is no charge for admission.

The City of La Grange Recreation Department invites all to their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 5 at White Rock Park located on Mode Lane in La Grange from 3-5 p.m. Photo op with the easter bunny. Join for fun filled family time.
There’s more The Fayette County Beekeepers Association (FaycoBeeks) will hold its next meeting on Saturday, April 5, at the Fayette County Agriculture Building in La Grange at 255 Svoboda Ln. The evening will begin with a Beekeeping 101 presentation from 4:30-5:30 p.m. – perfect for those new to beekeeping. A potluck dinner will follow, so bring your favorite entrée, side, or dessert to share. After dinner, the business meeting will feature guest speaker Steve Butler, who will discuss Honey Bee Swarms—a must-see for beekeepers of all experience levels. This is a great opportunity for beginners to connect with seasoned beekeepers for mentorship and advice. Annual membership is $25 per individual or family, but membership is not required to attend. FaycoBeeks meets on the first Saturday of every month, and more information can be found at faycobeeks.org.
Adult Technology Training
Join us for Adult Technology Training at the Fayette Public Library in La Grange on Saturday, April 5, from 10 a.m. - noon. All computer questions are welcome. No one is born knowing this stuff. Cedar Cemetery Decoration Day
Cedar Cemetery of Fayette County will hold Decoration Day on Sunday, April 6. There will also be a dedication of the new Chapel at 2 p.m. that afternoon. The public is invited.
Whataburger Relay Fundraiser
Mark your calendars and join Relay For Life of Fayette County for dinner on Monday, April 7 at La Grange Whataburger. Proceeds from meals sold from 5:30-7:30 p.m. will be donated to American Cancer Society for our Relay For Life event.
Tax Assessor Collector Hours
The Fayette County Tax Assessor Collector Office (DMV) will be closed Wednesday, April 9 for a regional meeting and training. American Legion, Auxiliary Meeting
The American Legion Post No. 102 and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 102 will meet for their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, April 9 at 6 p.m. at the VFW Home located at Veterans Memorial Drive at the Fairgrounds in La Grange. Members are encouraged to attend. New members for both the Post and the Auxiliary are always invited to attend and see how we can best assist Veterans in the area. A light meal will be served, followed by the regular business meeting.
Glass Painting at the Library
Join for Adult Crafternoon at the Fayette Public Library on Thursday, April 10, from 4-6 p.m. Enjoy a relaxing hour painting your own wine glass or glass cup, with take-home instructions on how to cure, bake, and preserve your masterpiece. Round Top DYD Club Meeting
The Round Top DYD (Do Your Duty Club) will have their next monthly meeting on Thursday, April 10, at 6 p.m. and will be held at the Round Top Courthouse. There will be a short business meeting followed by a breakout session with committees. All members are encouraged to attend.
Senior Citizen Game Day

Barn Square Quilt Class

Scholarship Fund Fish Fry & Bake Sale
The Hostyn/Plum Scholarship Fund Fish Fry and Bake Sale will be held Friday, April 11. This will be the last fish fry of the Lenten Season at La Grange Knights of Columbus Hall. Drivethru only from 4-6 p.m. The meal will consist of fried fish, buttered potatoes, pinto beans, coleslaw and hush puppies. Plates are $15. Advanced tickets available at the KJT or Hostyn Church Offices or by calling (979) 966-3597. Limited tickets available at the drive-thru. All funds benefit the Hostyn/Plum Scholarship Fund.

Feed The Need
Feed the Need, a non-profit organization whose mission is to feed people physically and spiritually, will provide free burgers every Monday at 6:30 p.m. in La Grange at the south east corner of the courthouse square. Everyone is welcome.
