Fund Meeting
La Grange Show Fund will have a meeting on Aug. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fayette County AgriLife Extension building located at 255 Svoboda Lane in La Grange.
There’s more Fayette County Parkinson’s Support Group will meet Thursday, Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. at the Randolph Recreation Center. Everyone is invited to attend and open to the public.

The Ellinger Hermann Sons life will be meeting on Monday, Aug. 19 at 6 p.m. at the Ellinger Fire Station.
La Grange Leopard Band Fundraiser
The Mighty Leopard Band is headed to the Big Apple for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in March of 2025. The band is currently fundraising to send the 70+ Mighty Leopards to New York City to play their hearts out and show them what La Grange is all about. How you can help them get there? American Legion, Auxiliary Post No. 102 TheAmerican Legion Post No. 102 and theAmerican Legion Auxiliary No. 102 will meet for their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 6 p.m. at the VFW Home located at Veterans Memorial Drive at the Fair Grounds in La Grange. The Girls’ State delegate and the Boys’ State delegates have been invited to attend and give a brief report to the Post and Auxiliary jointly, of their experience at their respective sessions held in June. Following their presentations, a light meal will be served. The Post and Auxiliary Unit will then continue their regular business meetings. Members are encouraged to attend, and potential new members are always welcome.
VFW Post 5254, Auxiliary to Meet On Tuesday, Aug. 20, Fayette Memorial VFW Post No. 5254 andAuxiliary of La Grange will meet in the VFW Post Home at the Fayette County Fairgrounds in La Grange. The Auxiliary meets at 5 p.m and at 6 p.m. the Post and Auxiliary will enjoy a meal after which the Post meets. Potential members are invited to attend.
Farm Bureau Local Potluck
The Swiss Alp, Ammannsville, Dubina Farm Bureau Local will have a social potluck on Aug. 27 at 6:30 p.m. followed by a short business meeting.All are welcome to join for a fun evening.
Feed The Need
Feed the Need, a non-profit organization whose mission is to feed people physically and spiritually, will provide free burgers every Monday at 6:30 p.m. in La Grange at the south east corner of the courthouse square. Everyone is welcome.
