Hermann Sons Life, Round Top and Shelby Lodges, will meet on Thursday, June 26, at the Round Top American Legion Hall. Social time at 6 p.m. and meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. Meal after the meeting. FCCT Upcoming Performance
Fayette County Community Theatre invites you to their upcoming performance of “Agnes of God” by John Pielmeier. This intense drama is intended for adult audiences, as its content may be unsuitable for younger viewers. Veteran performers Ellen Hardin, Emily Hudson and Heather Barthelme shine in this powerful theatrical piece directed by Julie Couch. Performances will be held Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 29 at 3 p.m. at the Historic Casino Hall at 254 N. Jefferson St. in La Grange. American Legion Quade Werchan
In order to provide their members the opportunity to fully enjoy the July 4 weekend, the next meeting of the American Legion Quade-Werchan Post No. 338 and Ladies Auxiliary originally scheduled for July 3, has been rescheduled to July 10. The meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. at their facilities located at 1503 N. State Highway 237 in Round Top. All members are encouraged to attend as the post has several operational proposals to review
Dubina Feast
Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church in Dubina will celebrate its 169th church Feast on Sunday, July 6 with a Polka Mass at 9 a.m. A “Dubina-style” fried chicken and sausage dinner with all the trimmings for $15. Serving begins at 11 a.m. Drive through available. Enjoy entertainment and amusements all day. Country auction begins at 1:30 p.m., bingo from 2-6 p.m., and antique and classic cars will be on site. Hamburgers will be served in the evening. Music by Mark Halata & Texavia and the Lost Cause Band from noon - 7 p.m. Everyone is invited.
