TAMU is also providing a “smoothie bike” where attendees will pedal to provide energy to operate a blender and make themselves a smoothie. In addition to learning to use a dichotomous key to identify insects and the importance of pollinators for gardens and crops, attendees will also have car races motored by live crickets. Kamp runs for three days (Tuesday-Thursday) from 8 a.m. to noon. The cost is $30 per child. Registration forms can be obtained at the AgriLife office or online at https://txmg.org/bluebonnet/kidskamp. The deadline for registration is Tuesday, June 14.
