Roy Koehl Memorial BBQ Plates

Presale tickets only for the Roy Koehl Memorial barbecue fundraiser are on sale now through April 20 at Fayette Savings Bank in La Grange, Fayetteville Bank and Orsak’s Cafe in Fayetteville and Pam’s Hair Fashions in Round Top or from 4-H and FFA members in Fayette County. The meal will be served on Thursday, April 28 in Fayetteville at the Old Fire Station on the square from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and in La Grange at the Bealls parking lot from 5:15-5:45 p.m. The meal will consist of barbecue brisket, buttered potatoes, pinto beans, pickles, onions and sauce catered by Peter’s BBQ for a donation of $12 per ticket. Widowed Spouses Support Group

Hospice Brazos Valley will host a Grief Support Group on the third Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1l:30 a.m. for anyone who is grieving the loss of a spouse.
