Feed the Need
Feed the Need, a non-profit organization whose mission is to feed people physically and spiritually, will provide free burgers every Monday at 6:30 p.m. in La Grange at the southeast corner of the courthouse square. Everyone is welcome.
Spring Market Day
The Flatonia Market Day will be held Saturday, March 26 on S. Main beginning at 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Home decor, unique gifts, jewelry and toys plus clothing. Enjoy food, drinks, and music.
CDA No.1962
Court Annunciation No. 1962, La Grange, will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, March 28 at the Msgr. Harry Mazurkiewcz Center in La Grange at 6:30 p.m. The Court will be accepting donations to CASA. Kristi Bauer, CASA Executive Director, will be the guest speaker. Members are encouraged to attend and prospective members are always welcome.
FWS Meeting

Beekeepers Association Meeting
The Fayette County Beekeepers Association (FaycoBeeks) will have their next meeting on Saturday, April 2, at the Fayette County Agriculture Building in La Grange, located at 255 Svoboda Ln. For new beekeepers, there will be a Beekeeping 101 presentation starting at 4:30 p.m. and it will be a great opportunity to meet up with experienced beekeepers who can serve as mentors or advisors. A potluck dinner will follow and guests are welcome to bring their favorite sides/desserts. Afterward, there will be a business meeting, an open discussion on bee-things, and possible guest presentation. Membership dues for 2022 will be collected ($25/year, individual or family). Although membership is not required to attend the meeting, FaycoBeeks welcomes all new members and especially encourages young beekeepers and their families to join. Schulenburg Sausagefest
Join Schulenburg Sausagefest for a day of fun, music and sausage on Saturday, April 2 in downtown Schulenburg. Festivities begin at 11:25 a.m. with the shortest parade in Texas. Live music all day. Salem Cemetery Association Meeting
The Salem Cemetery Association will have their annual meeting and memorial service on Sunday, April 3 beginning at 2 p.m. at the cemetery pavillion.
Blood Drive at Historic Casino Hall
Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center will be hosting a blood drive at the Historic Casino Hall in La Grange on Thursday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. More than 38,000 blood donations are needed every day. Caladium Bulb Sale
The La Grange Garden Club is taking preorders for its annual caladium bulb sale. Delivery will be available during the first full week in April at the club’s annual plant and bulb sale on Thursday and Friday, April 7 and 8 in the backyard of the Faison House at the corner of S.
