Feed the Need, a non-profit organization whose mission is to feed people physically and spiritually, will provide free burgers every Monday at 6:30 p.m. in La Grange at the south east corner of the courthouse square. Everyone is welcome.

Join Bethlehem AME Church for an Anointed Saturday Worship experience on Saturday, July 26 at 1 p.m. The church is located at 5218 FM 3233 in La Grange.
KC BBQ Sunday
La Grange Knights of Columbus Council No. 2574 will host their monthly BBQ chicken and sausage to-go on Sunday, July 27. Drive-thru beginning at 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Knights of Columbus Community Center located at 190 Brown St. in La Grange. A slab of pork ribs is $20, chicken is $10, and sausage is $7. There’s more The Casino Hall in La Grange will host a “Brunch and a Movie” event Aug. 2. The movie will be “The First Wives Club” and doors will open at 10 a.m. Tickets are $20 and include the meal and the movie. Deadline to get tickets is July 30. Back to School Bash
A first annual Back to School Bash will be held Sunday, Aug. 3 from noon - 4 p.m. at the Randolph Recreation Center, 653 E. Pearl St. in La Grange. Enjoy free hair cuts at 11 a.m. for kids. Free food courtesy of Feed the Need and the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter staff will be on site for adoptions. Free K-12 school supplies while they last, student must be present. Fayette County Beekeepers Association
The Fayette County Beekeepers Association (FaycoBeeks) will hold its next meeting on Saturday, Aug. 2 at the Fayette County Agriculture Building in La Grange (255 Svoboda Ln). The evening begins with Beekeeping 101 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. this session is perfect for beginners or anyone curious about getting started with bees. At 5:30 p.m. enjoy a potluck dinner, bring a favorite entrée, side, or dessert to share. Following dinner, regular business meeting will follow, then guest speaker: Freddie Benjamin, an Advanced Beekeeper in the Texas Master Beekeeper Program, will present on Honey Bee Pests and Diseases, offering valuable insights into the most common threats to hive health. Learn how to recognize early signs of pests and infections and explore effective, practical management strategies to keep your colonies thriving. Annual membership is just $25 per individual or family, but guests are always welcome. FaycoBeeks meets on the first Saturday of each month (except in July). Kids Garden Class
The Round Top Family Library will host a free Junior Master Gardener Kids Garden Class with teaching team Suzanne Ellis, Terri Russell and Lou Ann Phillips for grades 4th-5th. Kids will learn the art and science of gardening. This is a 4-week workshop held once a week October-November on Wednesdays from 4-5:15 p.m. Registration is required. The Round Top Family Library will host a free Sign Language Class with instructor Cheryl Meek beginning Mondays in September from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Adults and kids ages 6 and up are invited to learn sign language.
