Local law enforcement apprehended a man following a high-speed chase through La Grange Monday morning, May 23.
La Grange Elementary School went into a brief lockdown starting around 9:06 a.m. while the chase came through town. The Elementary School was holding field day activities at the time. All students and staff were brought into the building as a precaution.
The chase came through town after the suspect exited SH 71 and headed south through La Grange. The pursuit ended near the Country Way Village neighborhood. The school lockdown ended around 9:16 p.m. after the suspect was arrested.
