On Tuesday, March 25, the Fayette County Pct. 4 Road and Bridge crew set out across Precinct 4 picking trash along the county roadways.

“It is sad to see the massive amounts of litter that ends up along our roads,” said Pct. 4 Commissioner Drew Brossmann “We have other organizations in our area that do this on a regular basis. I would like to commend them along with my crew for doing their part in trying to preserve Fayette County to the way we all remember it.

“It is not easy keeping up with this and it really does take the whole community to keep our countryside beautiful,” he added.

Brossmann asked the public to call the Sheriff’s Office if they see anyone illegally dumping along the roadways.

He also reminds the public to tie bags shut and strap down debris when hauling trash in the countryside.

“We live in the best county, in the best state, in the best country in the world so let’s be sure to keep it that way,” Brossmann said.
