NVCC Plans Local Trips

Spring is just around the corner and NVCC is looking forward to warmer days. Members have asked to check out Flatonia. NVCC is eager to head west and explore during the month of March. The Lyric Movie Theater is on the list, as well as some of the local restaurants. The plan is to catch a matinee movie with a lunch meal either before or after the show.

After that, Brenham is on the radar. NVCC is making plans to attend Brenham’s “Small Town Shopping Expo” on Saturday, April 23. There will be retailers, artisans, services, farm goods, food trucks and more. Admission is free and there is indoor shopping all held at the Brenham Fireman’s Training Center and they have all ADA accessibilities. The aisles are 10 feet wide, to accommodate walkers and wheelchairs.
