Notice of Planned Road Repairs – August 18th

As a result of damage from the water main leak on Monday, Aug. 3, repairs are required at the intersection of Washington and Travis Streets. As such, the City of La Grange would like to give advance notice of planned road repairs at the intersection of S. Washington St. and Travis St./Hwy. 71 Business on the morning of Tuesday, Aug. 18. The contractor and city crews plan to begin the work early in the morning before normal business hours and complete the work before noon that day to minimize the impact on businesses and the community.

Traffic along Travis St./ Hwy. 71 Bus. will be down to one lane, with a pilot car leading drivers, and parallel parking along Travis St. will be unavailable during that time. The entrance and exit for N. Washington St. will be closed for the duration of the work, as well as the entirety of S. Washington St. from the intersection of Travis St. to Crockett St.
