Non-Profit Networking Group to Discuss Workforce Solutions

Rachel Genzer, Business Solutions Consultant

The Rural Non-Profit Networking Group (RNNG) is an opportunity for the organizations that do so much good in our rural communities to share their missions and visions, discuss community needs and partnership opportunities, bring in experts to facilitate growth and professionalism, and simply connect to maximize the efficiency and impact that participants can bring to Fayette, Colorado, Lavaca, and surrounding counties. Since reactivating post-pandemic shutdown, the group is more energized than ever, back to meeting monthly, and incorporating an educational aspect into each gathering.

This month Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area will be hosting the RNNG gathering on Wednesday, March 9 at 10 a.m. The gathering will be held at their office in La Grange located at 851 S. Reynolds, next door to AMEN Food Pantry.

Rachel Genzer, Business Solutions Consultant for Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area (WSRCA), will be hosting the meeting and will discuss how Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area works for your nonprofit. When people think of Workforce Solutions, they immediately think of job seekers or unemployment assistance. What they do goes way beyond that. WSRCA was originally formed to assist businesses through workforce training, employeeupskilling and staffing needs. Another way WSRCA routinely assists businesses is through funding opportunities. WSRCA often receives grants from various entities, and in turn put these funds to work for area businesses, which includes nonprofits.
