Non-Profit Group to Discuss Fostering and Cultivating Diverse Organizations
After hosting numerous monthly “bridging the gap” conversations with community members, BRIDGE was started on June 11, 2021. Their mission is to bridge the racial gap in education, business, government, and community. Their vision is to create exposure and equal opportunities for rural areas through the use of education. They service rural areas such as Fayette, Colorado, and Lavaca counties.
This month BRIDGE will be hosting the Rural Non-Profit Networking Group (RNNG) gathering. They will meet on Wednesday, April 13, at 10 a.m. The gathering will be held at Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club 575 Country Club Dr. in La Grange beginning at 10 a.m. The conversation will focus around “Fostering and Cultivating Diverse Organizations” and will be facilitated by executive directors LaKeisha Brown-Moore, Rebecca Powe, and La-Toya Ray. BRIDGE leadership will guide the group of RNNG participants as they explore educating the community and businesses on diversity and inclusion through interactive conversations.
The Rural Non-Profit Networking Group would like to invite all non-profit organizations interested in participating to attend. There will also be a virtual option.
