No Charges Yet in Death Of Woman

Three weeks after the body of Viviana Ortiz-Zuniga was discovered on Coufal Road outside Fayetteville, an arrest has still not been made in connection with the case. Fayette County Sheriff’s Lt. David Beyer said no charges have been filed but that the Texas Rangers and the District Attorney are still in the process of gathering evidence to bring charges before a grand jury. Ortiz-Zuniga’s husband remains in custody, on an unrelated charge, as he has been for weeks.
