The City of La Grange and the Greater Fayette Community Foundation (GFCF) are proud to announce a new partnership aimed at enhancing the arts and cultural landscape of La Grange. Together, they are launching the La Grange Arts & Culture Fund, a dedicated initiative designed to support local artists, enrich cultural experiences, and expand access to the arts throughout the community.

Central to this effort is the formation of the La Grange Arts Council, a volunteer advisory group that will guide funding priorities, evaluate grant applications, and provide strategic input to ensure a community-driven impact. The La Grange Arts Council will play a vital role in shaping a more vibrant and inclusive arts environment in La Grange.

“We are thrilled to partner with GFCF to invest in the creative heartbeat of our city,” said Jack Thompson, City Manager of La Grange. “Arts and culture are essential to our quality of life, and this initiative gives residents the chance to directly influence its growth.”

“At GFCF, we believe that the most impactful initiatives are shaped by the people who call this place home. We’re honored to join the City of La Grange in launching the Arts & Culture Fund, an initiative rooted in our shared commitment to being community-led and community-driven.” said Susannah Mikulin, Greater Fayette Community Foundation CEO. “By investing in local artists and cultural experiences, we’re not just supporting creativity, we’re strengthening the soul of our community.”
