Mobile Food Pantry in Waldeck this Saturday

The Central Texas Food Truck will be at the Waldeck Lutheran Church on Saturday July 19 from 10-11 a.m. Drive thru only. Volunteers are always welcome and appreciated.

Camp Lone Star BBQ 

Camp Lone Star in La-Grange will host their annual BBQ and Auction Fundraiser to support the camp, transform lives and grow in God’s kingdom, on Sunday, July 27. This event is one of the main events which supports Camp Lone Star each year.

The day includes special music at 10:30 a.m. followed by an outdoor worship service at 11 a.m. under the canopy of trees near the lake. A/C live streamed service is available in the Koop Center, followed by that good old Texas BBQ at noon. After that, enjoy the great fellowship and fun of the live and silent auctions at 1 p.m. If you cannot attend but would like to donate, please visit their website at: www. camplonestar.org.

St. Paul Enrollment

Wendish Fest Coming 

Wendish Fest will be held on September 28 at the Serbin Picnic Grounds. More details coming soon.

Sewing Circle 

The Sewing Circle meets each Thursday from 9 a.m.noon in the old parish hall at Holy Cross in Warda, (this is around the back side of the church.) No experience is necessary and you do not have to be a church member to join this fun group. Contact the church office at (979) 242-3333 if you have any questions.

Game Day at Holy Cross 

The next Game Day at Holy Cross in Warda will be held Thursday, Aug. 21 from noon-2 p.m. A light lunch is served. There is no cost to attend and everyone is welcome. Games of bingo and dominoes are offered.

Community Baseball 

Serbin plays at New Ulm on Sunday, July 20 at 3 p.m. The Serbin Jackrabbits now have a Facebook page.

Holy Cross Services 

Services at Holy Cross Lutheran are Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible Class and Sunday school follows the morning service.

Several youth and adults from Holy Cross are attending the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans.
