Mighty Leopard Band Receives Support from St. James, Rotary Club

St. James’ ECW (Episcopal Church Women) recently donated $500 to the La Grange Marching Band with the proceeds from the bake sale. Several band members attended the bake sale and did an excellent job. 

The La Grange Rotary Club has stepped up to become a Platinum Sponsor of the Mighty Leopard Band for its concert in Carnegie Hall next March. The local service club contributed $1,500 toward the band’s trip to New York City. Rotary’s fund-raisers like the County Fair Hamburger Booth and the upcoming Oktoberfest in La Grange help provide support for worthwhile efforts both locally and globally. Flanked by Rotarians Caleb Parks and Leonard Nuckolls, club president Hannah Janda presents the oversized check to Lep band director Chris Cooper.
