McHazlett Updates Board on Enrollment, Attendance

La Grange ISD Superintendent Andy McHazlett gave a current update on student enrollment and attendance at last Monday night’s meeting. The current enrollment for LGISD is 1,822 students. The per campus breakdown follows: elementary school – 936, middle school – 291, and high school – 595. The average daily attendance (ADA) is 1,724.24 which is 95.51%.

He also reminded the board of the upcoming scholarship program which will take place on May 7 beginning at 8:15 a.m. in the high school gym.

Assistant Superintendent Stacy Eilers told the board that online registration for next year will begin on May 4. The registration packet will include the form to give permission to receive health services which was not available at the time of the online registration last school year. Online registration will be open through the month of May.
