La Grange Main Street and the Fayette Community Foundation held a dedication for the new mural on the side of the Meservey Financial Services building in downtown La Grange. Artist Avery Orendorf with assistance from Sullivan Merservey painted the mural, which depicts a flora motif. The mural was paid for with funds from the City’s mural grant program along with matching funds from the Fayette Community Foundation.

“A huge ‘Thank You’ to the Fayette Community Foundation for the matching contribution that made this project possible,” La Grange Mayor Jan Dockery said at the dedication Monday. “Your support reflects a deep commitment to our community and we are so grateful for your partnership. Together, we’ve created not just a mural, but a lasting contribution to our downtown.”
