Man Wanted By U.S. Marshalls Arrested Here On Traffic Stop

On Wednesday May 4, at approximately 12:10 a.m. Sgt. Ryan Meagher conducted a traffic stop on a white 2015 Ford F-150 for a traffic violation on Hwy. 71 near Ellinger.

The passenger of the vehicle provided Meagher with a name which was later found to be fictitious.

Using a “Chime” bank card which was located in the vehicle, Meagher was able to research and correctly identify the passenger. The passenger was wanted federally through the U.S. Marshalls Service for a probation violation stemming from an original charge of smuggling aliens.

The subject identified as Daniel Luviano, 32, of Austin was arrested without incident.
