Lots of City Offices Up For Election Across the County

Municipal elections will take place on May 3 next year. The first day to file for a place on the ballot is Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025. The filing period runs through Friday, Feb. 14, 2025.

Listed below are the positions up for election along with the current incumbents: City of La Grange

• Mayor - Jan Dockery

• Councilmember Ward 1 Katie Gross

• Councilmember Ward 2 Ken Taylor

• Councilmember Ward 3 Bonnie Busch

• Councilmember Ward 4 Chris Jernigan

City of Schulenburg

• Mayor - Connie Koopmann • Alderman Place 1 - Greg Thomas

• Alderman Place 2 - Frank Wick III

City of Flatonia

Flatonia will hold an atlarge election for three council seats. The current office holders with terms expiring next year are:

• Councilmember Ginny Sears

• Councilmember Donna Cockrell

• Councilmember Joanye Eversole City of Fayetteville

• Mayor - Mike Stroup

• Alderman Place 2 - Cade Burkes

• Alderman Place 4 - Kelly Brooks

Town of Round Top

Round Top will hold an atlarge election for three council seats. The current office holders with terms expiring next year are:

• Alderman Karen Duddlesten • Alderman Amy Bone

• Alderman Jeanette Burger City of Carmine

• Mayor - Matt Mikulenka
