LMS Teacher/Coach Melody McKee Leads Local Students & Adults All Over the World

Students and adults from LGISD and surrounding areas, all the way from Montgomery, TX, traveled through five different countries with LMS teacher & coach, Melody McKee. The group of 20 started their adventure in Berlin, Germany, explored Prague, Czech Republic, took an emotional tour of Auschwitz & Birkenau concentration camps while in Krakow, Poland, ate lunch in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia, and ended their tour in Budapest, Hungary.

Coach McKee leads student tours on her “Wild and McKee” adventures every summer with EF Tours. EF Tours provides incredible and affordable opportunities for students to see and experience the world.

Last June 2025, she led a group of 24 students and adults to Italy and Greece called “The Ancient Mediterranean.”

“There are some things in life that will never get old. Watching students experience walking up to the Roman Colosseum, touching the Berlin Wall, walking the streets of Pompeii, looking over the Temple of Apollo, or walking on the railroad tracks of Birkenau concentration camp will always be my favorite part of every tour,” says Coach Mc-Kee.

Any adult or student can join Coach McKee’s student tours.
